Failed Delivery
The Owner shall not be liable for delivery errors resulting from inaccuracies or omissions by the User during order completion, nor for damage or delays occurring after delivery to the courier if the courier was appointed by the User.
If goods are not delivered or collected within the established timeframe, they will be returned to the Owner, who will contact the User to arrange a second delivery attempt or alternative solutions.
Unless otherwise specified, any delivery attempt after the second will be at the User’s expense.
RETURN POLICY
- Shipments are made via express courier, with delivery between 2 and 5 business days from order confirmation, depending on location.
- Cash on delivery payments incur an additional €5 charge.
- Shipping is free for orders over €100, depending on the delivery area (islands and abroad excluded).
- The choice of return method (within 7 days of purchase) and related costs are borne by the customer.
- Replacement shipments are at Riglarhaus’s expense.
- If you are not satisfied with your purchase and do not wish to exchange it, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 7 business days of receiving the goods (at the customer’s expense). Only the price of the item will be refunded.
- For defective items, contact Riglarhaus within 5 days of receiving the goods; return costs will be borne by us.
- Orders placed over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) will be processed and shipped on Tuesday morning (the store is closed on Monday mornings).
User Rights
Right of Withdrawal
Unless exceptions apply, Users may have the right to withdraw from the contract within the specified period (generally 14 days) for any reason and without justification.
Who Has the Right of Withdrawal
Unless an exception applies, Users acting as European Consumers have the legal right to withdraw from online contracts within the applicable time period, for any reason and without justification.
Users who do not meet these requirements do not benefit from the rights described in this section.
Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, Users must send the Owner an unequivocal statement of their intention to withdraw from the contract.
Users may use the standard withdrawal form provided in the Definitions section of this document, but they are free to use any other suitable form. To meet the deadline, the withdrawal notice must be sent before the withdrawal period expires.
Withdrawal Deadline
- For the purchase of goods, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the User or a third party designated by the User (other than the courier) takes possession of the goods.
- In the case of multiple goods ordered together but delivered separately, or a single good consisting of multiple lots or pieces delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after possession of the last item.
Effects of Withdrawal
The Owner will refund all payments received, including delivery costs, to Users who have properly exercised their right of withdrawal.
However, any additional costs resulting from the User’s choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard option offered by the Owner shall be borne by the User.
Refunds will be issued without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day the Owner is informed of the User’s decision to withdraw. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
Return of Goods
Unless the Owner has offered to collect the goods, Users must return them without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of notifying the withdrawal.
The refund may be withheld until the goods are received or proof of return is provided.
Users are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Return shipping costs are borne by the User.
Legal Warranty of Conformity
Under European law, sellers guarantee the conformity of goods for a minimum of two years from delivery.
For European Consumers, the legal warranty applies in accordance with the laws of their country of habitual residence, which may grant additional rights.
